Bath & Body Works new ad is appalling!

OMM typically focuses on issues that air on television, but there is one other issue we cannot ignore: ads of naked ladies in mail-out coupons and giant posters in malls. Next time you stop by Bath & Body Works to purchase soap, you will get much more than you bargained for and not in a good way. This is not somewhere you would want to walk by or visit with your children, your teen son or your husband. To be bombarded with a poster of a nude woman pictured with her privates meticulously covered while you are shopping is not okay!

Malls, where teens hang out and families go for an innocent outing, have retailers whose window displays poison our children with 10-foot posters that are nothing but soft p*rn. In particular, Bath & Body Works has a new ad campaign with a naked woman with certain areas covered up by her hands and legs. (An asterisk '*' is used to bypass internet filters.)

Their website has this same ad, but has cut off the bottom (pun intended)! If you are on their mailing list this ad was sent to your home in the form of a coupon. Now they are guilty of sending soft p*rn directly into your home.

OMM visited the store to witness the magnitude of the posters displayed to gain firsthand knowledge of this inappropriate ad campaign. OMM felt extremely uncomfortable without children in tow. Posters were in windows, huge displays throughout store and behind the checkout counter. Every time you turned around there "she" was!

TAKE ACTION

Please send Bath & Body Works an email urging them to remove these posters from their store locations and website immediately.

Take it one step further by calling Bath & Body Works at 1-800-756-5005 and request they have these disgusting posters removed immediately.

NOTE: If you see a commercial or program which is offensive, email us the information. Many of you have done this, and it is very helpful.
