Hallmark Cards now include gay weddings

UPDATE!! Hallmark is blocking emails from those who support one-man, one-woman marriage!

Read the alert below, then, PLEASE make a personal phone call to Hallmark’s corporate headquarters. Be polite, but firm in telling Hallmark that gay marriage cards are a bad business idea. Their corporate number is 816-274-5111.

Original Alert Below

According to the Associated Press, Hallmark Cards is rolling out gay marriage greeting cards, despite the fact that gay marriage is illegal in 48 states.

Hallmark promotes gay marriage with cards like this oneMost states don't recognize gay marriage -- but now Hallmark does.

The nation's largest greeting card company is rolling out same-sex wedding cards -- featuring two tuxedos, overlapping hearts or intertwined flowers, with best wishes inside. "Two hearts. One promise," one says.

Hallmark added the cards after California joined Massachusetts as the only U.S. states with legal gay marriage. A handful of other states have recognized same-sex civil unions.

TAKE ACTION

Let Hallmark know you oppose their decision to create and market gay marriage cards. We encourage you to edit the sample letter by putting in a personal message (I'm a customer, etc.)

NOTE: If you see a commercial or program which is offensive, email us the information. Many of you have done this, and it is very helpful.
